Om (Aum)Om is the vibration of creation. As the universe was formed it was manifested as the vibration of om. It resonates within all creation, unifying all humans, animals, plants and elements. The universe is a vibrating, pulsating, creative force giving form to all creation, this is the sound of om. If you want you can conceptualise this as God. To chant om, is to chant the purist and most powerful sound.
